Energy Saving High Lumen Output from nlite Super HPS.

400w SuperHPS nlite more than 62,000 lumens

600w SuperHPS nlite (SPD shown for 600w Super) more than 94,500 lumens

1000w SuperHPS nlite more than 140,000 lumens

Colours
  • New Long Life versions can maintain up to 90% light output for One year !
  • Designed for colour enhanced plant growth - Maximum Yield & Horticultural Efficiency
  • Super HPS with PURple (extra red)
Super High Output HPS

(High Pressure Sodium) lamps 10% to 15% more useful light than a standard HPS lamp.

  • Increased PURple output with purple gas in arc tube
  • Increased red output to enhance flowering & fruiting yield
  • Increased blue output to enhance vegetative growth
  • Increased yellow output to enhance chlorophyll synthesis and lumens rating
  • Decreased green output to increase photosynthetically useful radiation ratio (Maximizing PUR and PAR)
  • Increased glass thickness at base to manage higher pressure.
  • Long life and economical, works with any average or high quality HID ballast.

Ideal companion for T5 fluorescent lamps nlite Super HPS Lamps are High Pressure Sodium lamps designed to deliver 10% to 15% more useful light than standard HPS lamps. This extremely energy-efficient plant growing lamp provides more energy which is essential for optimized photosynthetic response.

This extremely energy-efficient plant growing lamp provides more PUR energy which is essential for optimized photosynthetic response.

How does it work?

The high-pressure sodium lamps have excellent colour rendition with a white/yellow colour appearance. The light is still very biased towards the yellow, but is very acceptable for flowering and fruiting applications. In high-pressure lamps the light-producing element is an arc tube that is small in diameter to maintain a high operating temperature. Because of the small diameter, there is no starting electrode inside the arc tube.

The arc tube has to be made of a ceramic material due to corrosive effect of sodium on ordinary glass or quartz, operating at a slight pressure and high temperature. Inside the arc tube is the PURple gas which is in a plasma state when operational. nlite™

Unique to the fabrication of nlite™ Super HPS is heating the ceramic tube to over 1400K and then adding the core transmission line (PURple Integrated Antenna), then heating to over 1400K again to complete the process. Only 2 R&D factories in the world are capable of this. We can only manufacture 6 lamps at a time using this method and it currently limits production to 3000 lamps per day.
